Obituary

OREGON - Carol Ann Beyler, age 73, passed away at her home, unexpectedly, on February 2, 2026. She was born on August 30, 1952, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, WI to the late Joseph and Margaret (Fitzsimmons) Beyler.

Carol graduated with the Class of 1970 from Madison West High School She attended Madison College earning her accounting degree in 1972 and Computer Programming Degree in 1985. Carol had a a 41 year career with CUNA Mutual Group retiring in 2013 as an IT Business System Analyst.

Carol loved all kinds of needlework crafting. She especially enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, and needlepointing. She will live on in the memories of family and friends through the many handcrafted gifts that she created over the years.

Carol was a beloved sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She will always be remembered and deeply missed.

Carol is survived by her sister, Diane (Kathy Gay); along with a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents; half-sisters, Jane (Thomas) Robson and Joanne (Duane) Pierstorff; aunts and uncles, Theresa Kennison, George (Shorty) Beyler, Art Beyler, Robert Fitzsimmons, Ann Bell, and Mary Lowe.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Ryan Funeral Home, 6728 Mader Drive, Madison, at 11:00AM, on Thursday, February 19, 2026. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00AM until time of service. Burial at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

I worked with Carol at CUNA Mutual when I moved to Madison. We were roommates for a couple of years when I decided to go back to college. I too was a recipient of her needle point. She was always so thoughtful with gifts at Christmas for my daughter. kids
