Steve we just played your memorial tournament and a great crowd came, 11 teams for a Tuesday night, shows how much respect we all have for you. Steve, no matter what team your on or where you are in life, I will always love you and respect you. Fly high!

Steven and I sat next to each other in several classes for all four years at Edgewood High School. We were paired alphabetically and our typical greeting was “Oh, it’s you.” We reminisced about this at one of our high school reunions and shared a good laugh!

I will miss you, the weight of your absence was felt so much while you were away due to illness and hardship. I loved your tenacity and resilience in those difficult times. I loved your perseverance and loyalty. And you truly fought alongside us until the end. RIP my friend

Steve or GoBigRed was my partner for about 10 years now. His wry wit , and fighting attitude in life and game made a huge impression on me. He did it with grit and grace, in equal measures.
