Obituary
Brandon Scott (Brown) Cotillier, age 45, of Wisconsin Dells, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. He was born on October 16, 1980, in Madison, the son of Scott A. and Tina (Brown) Cotillier.
Brandon grew up in Madison and attended both Madison East High School and LaFollette High School. He was an all around athlete, playing many sports including, football, basketball and hockey. He also loved coaching sports. Brandon was a people person who was always the life of the party.
Brandon was passionate about his work in construction and was truly a jack of all trades. He was proud to help build and repair homes for others. He was so selfless and would give the shirt off his own back for someone in need.
Brandon was known for his sarcastic and sometimes dark sense of humor and for his fantastic smile! He was a “member” of the League of Extraordinary Gentleman.
He is survived by his children, Alijah “AJ” Turner, Jada “Tinx” Turner and Treyson Cotillier; sister, Breann (Jessie) Cotillier; nieces, Aubrea and Amirry; nephew, Cash; brother, Jarrod (Kelsey) Brown; step-sisters, Holly and Kady Lawler; partner, Shari Hunter; best friend, Sarah Deering Cotillier; good friends, John “Stretch” Roesler and Marc Hagen; and beloved dogs, Da Vinci and Abelll.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and brother, Aaron.
A Celebration of Life for Brandon will be held for from 3-7 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at The Willows, 5485 Willow Road, Waunakee.
