Obituary
Maurice A. Ertz, age 83, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Heritage Manor in Middleton, WI. He was born on February 7, 1943, to Ben and Mary (Dresen) Ertz in Cassville, WI.
Maurice worked for the Department of Revenue for the State of Wisconsin as a filing clerk for over 45 years. He was a good man—easygoing, well liked, but was also a private person. Maurice loved cars and spent many hours reading car magazines and books. He will be remembered fondly by those who knew him.
Maurice is survived by her sister, Connie (John) Friske and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his, brother, Robert Ertz; and sister, Karen Fritsche.
A Celebration of Maurice's Life will be held at a later date.
Burial will take place at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, April 6, 2026, at St. Mary's Cemetery, 4th Street
Bloomington, WI.
