Obituary

Armando “Mondo” Favian Corpus, born and raised in Madison, WI, passed on March 31, 2026, just one day after his 19th birthday. He was the loving son of Diana Jones and Fabian Corpus, and a cherished brother to Krishanta “Kristi,” Kenneth “Kenny,” Kurtis Jones, Rachel, Nina, and Alysia Andaverde.

A proud member of the East High School Class of 2025, Mondo had a passion for cooking, enjoying good food, playing basketball, listening to music, and spending time with his dog, Max. He loved being around his friends and truly knew how to make the most out of every moment.

Mondo was no stranger to hard work and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His presence brought light, laughter, and love to those around him.

He made a home in our hearts that will never fade, and though he is gone, his love and memory will remain with us—always on our minds and forever in our hearts.

A visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Ryan Funeral Home, 2418 N. Sherman Avenue, where a time of sharing will be held at 3:00 p.m.

I didn’t know Armando personally, but I am a regular customer at Festival Foods and had many interactions with him. He was so kind. Always running around and doing something for customers or joking with his coworkers…my last memory of him is fond and it entails his big smile. Life is so very fragile. My heart is with his friends and family

Armando was the nicest young man you would want to meet. He was about eight years old when we met him. He took my two young grandchildren and was like a brother to them. They lost their mother at the young age of 34 . But Armando stepped up and played with these two young children daily if he was out. He would play basketball, football, kickball or just settle one down if they were having a bad day. The kids loved him. All kids in the neighborhood loved mondo . He was the best. Mondo loved everyone. He was such a special nice young man. He helped everyone. He loved his dog so much . There wasn’t a day go by mondo wouldn’t either be raking, mowing, shoveling, just everything he did at his home besides helping others. Mondo will be missed so much by his family, but also all his friends and the neighbors who loved him so much. I have to say mondo was a good boy. We send our condolences to the family. Our deepest sympathies. Godbless Jacki Willie Ari and Pablito. We will miss you buddy. We love you.
