When I became a pastor at her church, Barb, made it known she was excited because they hired a woman. Barb and I became more than a pastor and parishioner, we became friends. And even more so when we both ended up at new perspective, Senior living in Sun Prairie. When I first moved there Barb was relatively sharp and we reminisced about the good old days at our church and our love for the Lord. Barb had a deep faith. No, she didn’t show it much in public, I do believe her faith in Jesus was in her mind even as she struggled at the end. Barb was dear to me and so many people, she was loved by many but most of all she was loved by and loved her Lord. I know we’ll see each other again, Barb.

Barb was a kind hearted person and she brought great joy to the life of my father, Ken Huxhold. They were wonderful partners to each other and Barb made Dads late years very happy. My most cherished memories of her are the love she always showed for the animals in her life. Sail on dear Barb… rest in peace. Lisa Danford

Barb smith is very special to me not only because I care for her day after day but because even when she was upset every night at bed time she would tell me she loved me and appreciated all that I did for her. Her eyes were like there was a light directly to her soul. She was loving, protective, smart and not easily tricked or fooled 😂 and she will forever be missed.
