There just are not many people who are committed to giving back to the communities that they live in. Geri has been a leader in that for the town of Iron River. I have worked with her to establish a sled dog race in our town that has been extremely successful. Her life experiences made her tough and passionate. Characteristics I admire. You are missed Geri.

Geri was a fantastic individual who cared deeply about the Iron River community. It was a pleasure to work with her on project and issues in Iron River over the last 8 years. Geri was the driving force behind many of the positive projects that have recently happened in the community. She will be greatly missed.

I went to high school with Geri and graduated with her. We rode on the same school bus. Very often we would sit together and she would help me with algebra which I struggled. I remember her as a very kind, intelligent person. I looked up to her and will miss her. We reconnected last October at our class reunion. We vowed to stay in touch! My deepest sympathy goes out to her family and friends. God bless and comfort you all.
