Obituary
Lucille I. Kaltenberg, age 90, gained her heavenly wings on June 4th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at Home Again Assisted Living in Waunakee.
Lucille “Lucy” was born March 23, 1936, to John & Anna Schlimgen. She attended school in Mt. Horeb. On October 11, 1955, she married James J. They also enjoyed their home on County I for over 35 years. In 2023, Lucy moved to Cannery Row in Waunakee, where she enjoyed playing cards, dominos, and bingo while making many new friends.
Lucy enjoyed farming with Jim and their family, along with gardening, flowers, bowling, playing cards, and going to the casino. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest gift, after her own five children, was her 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
