Jane Sulzer

I met Jane in a couple of different chapters of my life. One of my first jobs was at the Department of Public Instruction, where Jane also worked. Although our paths didn’t cross often back then, it was clear that people saw her as a dedicated, hardworking presence who took her responsibilities seriously. Many years later, our paths crossed again when I began ringing handbells. Jane was already a seasoned ringer, and she welcomed every new ringer with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. She loved the music, and she loved sharing that joy with others. Jane will be missed by many. She will be remembered for her kindness, her generosity, and the joy she brought through her music. And I would like to imagine that somewhere, the angels are ringing handbells a little more brightly now that Jane is among them. Susie F.
