What a wonderful and encouraging Bible-based talk! Though the Live Stream failed to play completely, it was made clear that grief affects us differently. Enjoyed the b illustration used regarding trees and flowers when they die but come back to life. The resurrection hope Jehovah guaranteed by means of Christ's ransom sacrifice is God's means to comfort us and help us through our grief. How thankful we are for this! Hoping all Frank's families are comforted by his Word. I have no contact info for fami.y. Please feel free to contact me. Sending warmest Christian Love.

Frank often said “ Not all angels have wings”. And he would cheer us with “A frown is a smile upside down.” Frank learned dozens of these short sayings from his beloved grandmother Claudia. Do you remember any of these gems of wisdom? If you do, please share. If you are at the funeral, I can collect them in my notebook.

When Frank came to our house for our Fourth of July party, he entertained all the children with the “jelly shake” They loved him! He was always smiling and was a good man!

Like everyone else who knew Frank (and Peggy), we have many cherished memories of conversations (including gardening how-to’s, of course) with him, chuckles, shared meals, and more. A favorite memory for me is of the time he did a fishing how-to workshop at the library where I worked. Frank made time in his busy schedule, supplied materials, and made a round-trip drive of 140 plus miles to do this! The event was attended by a wide range of ages and was enjoyed by all. We also remember Memorial Days when Frank and Peggy joined us for the town’s parade and school program. And, of course, all enjoyed visits when daughter Lauren was a Ripon College student and living just 6 or 7 miles away from us. Frank was someone who helped make the world a better place and we feel very, very fortunate that our paths crossed. Vicki & Felix
