Dear family of Ann, As close family farm neighbors we all looked up to Ann. She was a leader even then! Everything you wrote about her and her life left me with dear memories. Our families were dear friends and we attended Apple Grove Lutheran Church together. I am happy she will be laid rest in that beautiful cemetery possibly over looking the Johnson farm. sincere sympathy to all of you. Ann Larson Davis and Bob Davis.

Dearest Isely family, Your mother & father meant a lot to us. We admired their achievements including how they reached their children. We had two young children ourselves when we all knew each other. We will never forget them. We pray they have met our son Jason again in heaven.

Both Ann and Erling truly understood the importance of lifelong friendships. We met the Iselys when they became our next door neighbors back in the 60s. I was always treated (and still am) as the sixth Isely girl. Their daughter Karla and I became best friends, inseparable friends. When they moved away, and we moved away, they always found time to get Karla and I together through our “growing up” years. We’d pull our leaving a sock or something behind after sleep overs to be sure they’d keep us together. Ann and my Mother probably got the best chuckle over it! They’d come visit and either pick me up or drop Karla off so we could have sleepover s or just really nice long visits. Karla and I have remained the best of friends for almost 60 years now. Ann got my Mom through some very hard times, and lots of happy times, as have Karla and I. She took so much pride in her girls. She was truly a gift to all of us. Thank you, Ann for being that true friend that everyone needed throughout life. She will always be remembered in my heart as a wonderful woman, and an inspiration in how far true love can be spread. She’ll be missed and always cherished by all who knew her. Much love is sent to her girls, who have become my second family.
