David Dow Sr.

With profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of David MacKeever Dow Sr., who entered into eternal rest with Jesus on June 16, 2026, at Agrace Hospice Care Center. David shared more than 55 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Linda.

He is lovingly remembered by his children, Dana (Jason), Kelly (Jon), Jennifer (Luis), and David Dow Jr. (Celeste); grandchildren Zachary (Jessica), Taylor, Bella, Juliana, Maya, Sienna, Nevaeh, Rhiannon, and Rowan; great-grandchildren Charlotte and Beckham, with one on the way; and siblings Mary Kransberger and John Dow (Gwen).

David enjoyed a successful career with Compugraphic and later AGFA Corporation in the printing industry, following the legacy of his grandfather and father. He served as president for three years at the Madison Area Craftsman Club. An avid fisherman, athlete, and baseball enthusiast, David proudly supported the Badgers, Brewers, Packers, and all of his favorite teams. He attended Brewers Fantasy Camp on two occasions. Over the years, he lovingly made and donated more than 3,500 walking sticks, which he affectionately referred to as his “lagniappe” (a little something extra).
