Arlan Dale Oser passed away on June 16, 2026, at Beaver Dam Healthcare Center - Bedrock Healthcare in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.
Arlan was born April 11, 1962, in Landstuhl, Germany while his Dad was stationed there in the U.S. Army. His parents were Alton N. Oser, Sr. and Effie M. (Keiffer) Oser. He graduated from Caldwell Parish High School in Columbia, LA, and later went to Oklahoma Christian College in Edmond, OK. This is where he met Linda Nordness, while they both attended college. In 1985, Arlan and Linda were married and had two children, Stuart and Rebekah, during their 15 years of marriage.
Arlan was last employed at the VA Hospital in Madison, WI. He enjoyed playing Spades, Bingo, and Rummy 500. He also enjoyed reading books and watching baseball, basketball, and football on TV.
Arlan is survived by his ex-wife Linda Oser, son Stuart Oser, and daughter Rebekah Oser, all of Madison, WI. In addition, he leaves behind his sister, Nyla Keiffer Hill, and wife Gena Hill of Edmond, OK; his brother Alton N. Oser, Jr., and wife Eirianedd Oser of Germany; and sister-in law, Trisha Oser. Arlan is survived by six nephews and four nieces, as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Arlan was preceded in death by his parents Effie M. Oser and Alton N. Oser Sr., and his stepmother Mildred M. Oser as well as his brother, Darrell T. Oser.
The family will hold a memorial service for Arlan at a later date.
