Obituary
PARDEEVILLE/MADISON – Eric Paul Hanson III, age 33, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 28, 2026. Eric was born on May 23, 1993, in Reno, Nevada to Eric P. Jr. and Robin R. (Herrington) Hanson. He spent his childhood on the North Side of Madison and Pardeeville. Eric enjoying playing baseball, basketball, and football. He graduated from Pardeeville High School in 2011. Eric enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors. He especially loved spending time with his family, playing card games, yard games, campfires, boating, swimming, and watching sporting events. Especially the Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Brewers, Wisconsin Badgers, Green Bay Packers and Chokeland (Vegas) Raiders.
Eric had a big heart and loved to make people laugh. We will miss his kindness, generosity, humor, smile, and his dancing, which he wasn’t very good at. Eric will be deeply missed by his family and all that loved him.
Eric is survived by his mother Robin Hanson (John Christie); sisters, Kirstie Hanson and Lily Christie (Trenton Heming); stepbrothers, Dalton Christie (Kendra Collins) and Jacob Christie; niece, Adrianna Wilborn; nephews, and John Brown Jr. and Deante Willard Jr. He is further survived by his grandfather, Eric Paul (Judi) Hanson Sr and aunts, uncles, cousins, and his beloved dog, Traxx.
Eric is preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents, Roger and LaVonne Herrington; paternal grandmother, Karen Hanson; and uncle, Scott Herrington.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00PM on Friday July 17, 2026, at Ryan Funeral Home, 2418 N. Sherman Avenue. A visitation will be held from 11:00AM until time of service on Friday at the funeral home. A private burial for family will be held.
