Mary Ehren

I am very sorry to hear about Mary. We graduated from Sheboygan South the same year, 1971, and we both went to UW Madison after graduating. Although we went our separate ways after college, Mary and I stayed in touch via hand-written letters every birthday and Christmas. These have been a timeline, reflecting our personal lives and the state of the world, and also, sadly, the many health challenges Mary faced year after year. I can’t imagine the strength it took for her to deal with them. Today I am remembering Mary’s beautiful smile, her intelligence, her love of following sports and music and authors, and always, her love of kittens. Life won’t be the same without my letters from Mary — she will be missed. ~ Lynn Schroeder Boll
