Pamela M. Welty

Pamela M. Welty, beloved wife and mother "Pam" Welty passed away peacefully at her home in Madison, Wisconsin early Friday evening on July 3rd, 2026. Her husband Patrick was right beside her when she took her last breath. Pam was born in Chicago on April 6, 1948. Soon after, her parents, Bob and Carole Daly moved to Indianapolis where she was joined by her sister Jessica and her brother Mike. They then moved to Madison in 1961.

Her sister Jessica LaRouque survives here and still lives in Madison but her brother "Mick" Daly passed away last September. Her father Bob died in March of 2007. Her mother Carole is still alive and recently celebrated her 100th birthday. Pam is also survived by her husband Patrick Pierce

Pam is survived by her daughters Meredith Welty and Rachel Duncan. She had 3 grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pam had a rich and fulfilling life. She and Patrick traveled to all 50 states and visited many countries. When she wasn't traveling, she was a transplant nurse at the University of Wisconsin Hospital where she retired after 33 years of service.

A memorial is planned for later this year.

In lieu of cards or flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice Care Center 2395 E. Cheryl Parkway Fitchburg, WI 53711 or to St. Judes Hospital 501 St Jude Plaza Memphis. TN 38105 which was her favorite charity.
