Pamela Grant

Pamela Grant, age 74, of Hustisford, WI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 4, 2026 from cancer, at home under the loving care of her husband, Michael.

Pamela, the daughter of Joseph and Salome Brown, was born on March 29, 1952, in Freeport, IL. She graduated from Verona High School in Verona, WI. She worked for many years as a school secretary, and her kindness and love for children was evident throughout her career. She eventually followed her entrepreneurial dream and opened The Mercantile, a warm and inviting shop that sold handmade gifts, specialty foods, clothing, and other unique finds. As the proud owner and operator for 15 years, Pamela created a warm and inviting space where she truly enjoyed connecting with customers and the community.

Outside of work, she was an active member of the Husty Gardens, hosted a local radio segment called “Pam’s Jams”, and was a founding member of the Husty Players theatre group, where she was able to share her passion for theatre, music and dance with the local community. She had a lifelong adoration of animals (she loved spoiling her “granddoggies”), and could be a ruthless competitor in a game of Euchre.

Above all, Pamela was a loving friend, daughter, sister, wife, and devoted mother and grandmother, deeply cherished by her children, Lucas and Emma, and granddaughter, Rowan. Words cannot express how much she was loved and will be missed.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; her children, Lucas and Emma; her daughter-in law Rachel; her granddaughter, Rowan; and her siblings, Dan, Veronica and Jean. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Salome Brown.

An urn burial will be held at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery in Verona, WI at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
