Robert Gordon

Robert "Bob" Gordon, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Upland Hills Health Hospital in Dodgeville, WI. He was born on January 28, 1949, to Harvey and Mary Cathrine (McCarten) in Madison, WI.

Robert graduated from Middleton High School in 1967 and began his career with the Milwaukee Railroad in Madison, where he worked as a train engineer until his retirement.

Growing up, Robert always looked forward to spending summers with his cousins in Hollandale, Wisconsin. He enjoyed camping, sharing laughs, and teasing his sisters. Known for his generous heart and kind spirit, Robert touched the lives of many. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Robert is survived by his sisters, Sharon Meyer, Penny Glassburn, sister-in-law, Deb Gordon, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Steve Gordon; brothers-in-law, Larry Glassburn, Nick Meyer; nephew, James Meyer; niece, Kristine Glassburn, and other family members.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Cornerstone Foundation for the compassionate and loving care they provided to Robert over the years. They also wish to thank the ICU nurses at Upland Hills Hospital and Dr. Jewell for their patience, kindness, and exceptional care during his time there.
