Obituary
Verona - Priscilla C, Born, age 97, of Verona, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026. She was born on December 20, 1928, in Dane, Wisconsin, the daughter of Anton Dolfen and Anna (Adler) Dolfen. She married Victor W. Born on May 30, 1950 in Dane, Wisconsin. Priscilla was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Madison. She worked at Sherman School at lunch time and when they had voting there. She also worked at the Aloha Inn and at the food court at East Towne Mall.
Priscilla loved going to Chicago Cub’s baseball games and watching them on T.V. She enjoyed going to the Fireside Theatre to watch plays with her family. Priscilla was known for her kindness and quiet strength, values she carried with her throughout her years.
She is survived by her beloved children, Priscilla (Pat) Born of Madison, Diana (Ed) Atkinson of Verona and Victor (Cheryl) Born of DeForest; three grandchildren, Alex (Angie) Atkinson, Eric (Tiffany) Born and Terisha (Trent) Triggs; great grandchildren, Dylan, Alexis, Cale, Braiden, Isabella, Mikaella and Aiden; many cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Born, with whom she shared many cherished years; parents, Anton and Anna Dolfen; siblings, Mike (Jenny) Dolphin, Tony (Blondie) Dolphin, Romy Dolphin, Edwin (Marion) Dolphin, Marvin (Rosie) Dolphin and Sybilla (Albert) Taylor.
Priscilla’s life was marked by her unwavering devotion to family and the simple grace she brought to every day. Her warmth and caring nature will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 11:30am at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 220 Enterprise Dr, Verona. A visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10:30am until the time of service. A luncheon will follow the service at the Verona American Legion, 207 Legion St. A private Entombment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park.
