Betty Ann Rook, age 76, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at her residence. She was born on August 15, 1949, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to parents Donald and Mildred (Hanson) Albright.
Betty married Gary W. Rook on September 13, 1969, and together they shared 56 years of marriage. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother.
Betty is survived by her husband Gary; son Heath (Kristine) Rook; daughter Julie M. Schebig; grandsons Nikolas, Holden (Sydney), Connor, Cooper, Franklin, Brian; granddaughter Samantha; and her sister Donna (Jim) Kurtz.
A private celebration of life will be held by her family.

Betty was a beautiful person and so kind to everyone. We have known Betty and Gary for 47 years. We lived a couple houses from them for 8+years and enjoyed getting together with them all the time. We had so much fun and built such wonderful memories together. After moving from the neighborhood we would got together for lunch. We looked forward to our lunches together and catching up on everything going on in our lives. Betty always loved to talk about her family and how much she loved them. We are very saddened by Betty's passing and will miss her more than words can say. We love you Betty and know that you are now in God's loving arms! Gary, Julie Heathe and all family. You are in our thoughts and prayers and know that the wonderful memories you have will help you through this difficult time. Carol and Scott ❤️

Betty will always be remembered for welcoming a Cowboy fan into her family with open arms. Long on patience with her grandchildren, I will always remember how she would laugh as they tore the Sunday paper apart for fun. Her unwavering devotion to Gary was a wonderful example of love to be admired. An avid Packer fan, she made Sunday Football and event to be shared and enjoyed together. I consider myself to very lucky to have had her as a Mother In Law. Thanks for all the Dinkelackers Mom.

Betty will be remembered for the warm way she welcomed people into the family with open arms. An avid Packer fan who accepted a Cowboy as a son in law , she made football Sunday a weekly event. Patient to no end with her grandchildren, she was never bothered by the way her grandchildren would trash the living room tearing apart the Sunday paper for fun. Her devotion to Gary set an example few of us can ever live up to. She will be missed as much as she was loved and appreciated. Thanks for all the Dinkelackers Mom.

I will always remember Betty’s love of jewelry, her joy in celebrating every holiday, and how she would change her nail colors to match the occasion. I’ll also fondly remember the holiday gifts she and Uncle Gary shared each year—especially the cookies, and so many of them. Her happy laughter, thoughtfulness, and festive spirit will be deeply missed. Godspeed, Aunt Betty. ❤️
