Patricia A. Desch

Patricia A. Desch, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 13, 1933, to William and Olga (Scheunemann) Ebner in La Crosse, WI. She married Joseph Desch on April 24, 1965, in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Pat graduated from Logan High School in La Crosse, Wisconsin, in 1951. Following graduation, she began her career as an administrative assistant. Pat found joy in life's simple pleasures. She was an avid reader, especially mystery novels, and enjoyed watching mystery television. She also enjoyed playing games, and spending time with her family. One of her greatest joys was making memories with her children and grandchildren. She also cherished traveling throughout the United States with her family, creating lasting adventures and treasured moments together.

Pat is survived by her husband, Joseph; children, Jill Dove, Amy (Doug) Jungers; grandchildren, Evan Dove (Tyler McCarthy), Kyle Dove, Sam Jungers and Will Jungers; sister-in-law, Mary Sowar; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, one sister and their spouses: Bob (Dorothy), Bill (Kay), Marian (Clarence), Kenny (Molly), and Donnie; in-laws Don (Kit) Desch, Fr. Paul Desch and Jim Sowar. 

The family would like to thank Agrace Hospice, and Fathers Heart, especially Kristen, Christine and Miriam, for all of their compassionate care given to Pat in her last months. 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 602 Everglade Dr, Madison, WI. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at church. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
