I still can hear that infectious and warm voice every time I showed up for a ball game saying â hi Bobbyâ as if I made a great play even before the game started ! That smile and laugh of his would put you in a good mood no matter what the situation was. If you wanna talk about a competitor and a great sport, no matter what the outcome was. Denny in the nutshell.. I loved playing shortstop for him when he was pitching because he believed in his team more than anybody, I know! He never gave up no matter what the score was and always thought the best of every situation! Rest in peace, Denny I hope to be playing ball with you again someday ! You were the best teammate anybody could ever have! Bob Parman

We used to pretend fight. It usually ended with both of us rolling around on the floor laughing our heads off.

Denny was a great guy. We grew up together in South Madison. We learned how to play, fight, and enjoy sports together and against eachother. Fastpitch sofrtball was our passion back in the day. I didnt see him mutch as an adult, but when we did it was like we saw eachother that morning. We were those kinda friends. Not seeing him nuch as an adult reminds me of all the fun childhood things we used to do. We had lotsa fun for sure . I ll never forget alot of the fun episodes we had. God Bless Denny!
