David Lewke

So sorry about Dave’s passing. I had a long history with Dave. I met him when I started my career with Oscar Mayer in Chicago in 1969. He was one of my sailing partners. We did many sailing charters in Door County and Lake Superior( Apostle Islands). Have many cherished memories from those days. I will dearly miss him, he was a good friend.

On behalf of the Badger Honor Flight Board and all our volunteers, we extend our deepest condolences to you all, the family of David Lewke. We are forever thankful for his service to our great country. What an honor it was to take David on his “Trip of a Lifetime”. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dave was a great neighbor of mine for a lot of years and he was so fun to be around. He loved his children and was someone that was willing to give a helping hand at anytime. I will hold on to the great memories I have with Dave.

I’m sorry to read about Dave’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with Dave in Corporate Quality at Oscar Mayer. He loved to talk about his family and travel. He was a very nice man and I am glad to have worked with him.
