Obituary
Arthur Ernest Clough, age 88, went to join God's heavenly choir on Monday, October 5, 2026. Arthur was born on March 16, 1938, in Providence, Rhode Island to Ernest and Ione (Berryman) Clough. After graduating high school, he furthered his education at Olivet College in Michigan attaining a degree in Musical Performance. He later went on to join the US Army Field Band and Soldier's Chorus and retired as a Master Sergeant after 26 years of devoted service to his country.
He married the love of his life, Judith Lynn Gibson, on February 24, 1974, at St Luke’s Episcopal Church in San Antonio, TX. Wherever Arthur went he was faithful in joining the choir of each church he attended. Lending his voice, heart and soul, he inspired others in their own journeys of faith. Arthur was also involved in many different activities including Kerrville Trailblazers, Kerrville Morning Rotary, First Presbyterian Men's Breakfast, and various performances around Kerrville. His strong faith and love for Jesus was his steady foundation during life’s many storms. His love for his family was equally strong, which you felt when you got one of his unforgettable hugs. Arthur touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
Arthur is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judith; daughters, Vivian Lynn Hasbrouk and Heather Rebecca (Brian) Bowers; and grandchildren, Elizabeth "Liz" C. Bondulich, Alexander "Alex" C. Bondulich, and Andrew C. Bowers. He is further survived by many other family and friends from all over the world.
A private service has been held.
