Jeffery Brian Scalissi

Jeffery Brian Scalissi passed away on October 21, 2026, at the age of 72. He will be remembered by his family and loved ones, whose lives were touched by the time they shared with him.

Jeffery was the beloved son of Gloria and Joe Scalissi. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Gary Scalissi, Joe Scalissi and Gill Scalissi. He is survived by his sister, Gina (Dennis) Tuckwood, along with his beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family who remain a cherished part of his family and his life’s story.

Jeffery was a proud father to his two sons, Erick and David, who carry forward his family legacy. Erick and his wife, Bridget, have two daughters, Brooklyn and Brittain Scalissi. His son David is the father of three daughters, Eva, Lilliana and Giada Scalissi. Jeffery’s family continues through his children and grandchildren, each holding a special place in the family he helped create.

Though Jeff’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, his memory will live on through his family and friends. The family always looked forward to Jeff putting on his chefs hat to prepare his famous meatballs and they will always trigger the families tastebuds.  His knack for MacGyver skills will continue on to make us all think, “we could’ve built that better oursleves”.  Jeff often referenced himself as ‘Mr Haney’ doing his Mr Haney things. Jeff loved making a deal, finding hidden values in what others may have called ‘junk’ and was always looking for a great idea to patent. Jeff treated every day life with a quirky sense of humor and loved pitching ideas, tools or projects, whether you asked for them or not. Jeff’s positive outlook on life was immeasurable, regardless of any situation he was faced with, he faced them all with a smile.

May Jeffery Brian Scalissi rest in peace, forever remembered and never forgotten. May his loved ones find comfort in their memories of him and strength in the family they share.
