Deloris Tenjum

Deloris Tenjum, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, in Freeport, Illinois, surrounded by her loving family.

Deloris was born on November 16, 1948, to James and Viola Roberson. On August 31, 1968, she married the love of her life, Duane Tenjum, in Madison, Wisconsin. Together, they built a life centered on love and family, creating many cherished memories along the way.

Deloris worked at EVCO Plastics in DeForest, Wisconsin, for 32 years, dedicating herself to her work and colleagues throughout her career. Outside of work, Deloris enjoyed traveling, reading, and working on puzzles. Above all, she treasured time with her family. The memories they created together and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Deloris is survived by her son, Jeremy Tenjum (Laura Thayer); her daughter, Tami (John Sullivan); her beloved grandchildren, Victoria Sullivan and Zachary Tenjum; her brother, Harold Roberson; and her special nephew, Jason Tenjum. Family was at the center of Deloris's life, and she will be deeply missed by those who loved her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Duane Tenjum; her parents, James and Viola Roberson; her grandson, Kass Konz; her sister-in-law Janet Roberson, and her special nephew, Terry Tenjum.

Deloris's love for her family and the memories they shared will live on in their hearts. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Ryan Funeral Home, 6924 Lake Road, DeForest. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. A burial will be held at Norway Grove in DeForest.
