WAUNAKEE - Scott Andrew Dokken, age 41, died on Friday, March 7, 2014, at his parent's home in Waunakee. Scott was born in Madison, Wisconsin on July 20, 1972, the second of two sons born to Dennis and Shirley Dokken. He attended LaFollette High School, graduating in the class of 1990. In the two years subsequent to high school, he attended MATC where he was student senate president in 1992. He completed his education at the UW Whitewater receiving his BA degree in Political Science in 1994. On June 13, 1998, Scott was united in marriage with Heather Ann McKinnon of Whitewater, Wisconsin. Their marriage produced two daughters, Caroline Aili and Camille Alexsandra.
Scott was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents, and is survived by his parents, Dennis and Shirley of Waunakee; his two daughters, Caroline and Camille of St. Paul, MN; one brother, David (Linda) Dokken and their daughters, Arin and Emily of Franklin, WI and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In life we loved you dearly, In death we love you still. In our heart you hold a place No one can ever fill.
It broke our hearts to lose you, But you didn't go alone. For a part of us went with you, The day God took you home.
