MADISON – Barbara L. Jacobson, age 64, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015. She was born on April 16, 1950, in Madison, the daughter of Robert and Carol Sachtjen. She graduated from Madison East High School in 1968. Barbara recently retired from WPS. She was looking forward to relocating to Florida to enjoy her retirement.
She is survived by her children, Eric Jacobson and Melissa (Ian) Grau; grandchildren, Alex, Lizbeth and Calvin Jacobson, Ian and Bailey Grau, and Mercedes Preston; sister, Patty (Mike) Speth; and brother, James (Tina) Sachtjen. She was preceded in death by her parents.
