Obituary
DEFOREST – Russell H. Baerwolf, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, with his family at his side.
He was born on Dec. 28, 1937, to Willie and Sadie (Alme) Baerwolf in Windsor. After high school, he served in the United States Army and then went on to work for Madison Crushing and Excavating for 37 years. Russell was an avid hunter and fisherman, and made frequent trips to Wyoming to hunt. He played softball, enjoyed dancing, playing cards, watching stock-car races and spending time with his family and good friends.
Russell is survived by his three children, Robin (Gail) Baerwolf, Violet (Efrain) Lara, and Roseanne (Jesse) Kessenich; his brother, Willie (Carol) Baerwolf; and sister, Helen (Chuck) Lester; seven grandchildren; many cousins, nieces, nephews and good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Bobby and Leonard Baerwolf.
