Obituary
Sun Prairie - Michael L. Endres, age 78, passed away Saturday, March 7th, 2015, peacefully at home with his beloved wife by his side. He was born on July 12th, 1936, in Madison, WI, son of Michael and Gertrude (Boehnen) Endres. After graduating from Edgewood High School in 1955 Michael worked in the grocery business and served in the U.S. Army. Following his service in the Army he married Anne C. McCormick on July 22nd 1961. They were blessed with three Children.
Mike is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anne Endres; daughter Laurie; sons Scott (Cara) and Chris; sisters-in-law Barb Endres, Mary (George) Pliszka, Nyla, Jan, and Mary McCormick; and brothers-in-law Fran Wagner, George (Lorraine) McCormick, and Patrick (Patty) McCormick along with many nieces and nephews. Mike and Anne were graced with four beautiful grandchildren: Joshua, Mason, Audrey and Henry. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Viola, Mildred, Mary Magdalene, Mary Terese, Evangeline (Vangie), Catherine (Katie), William (Bill), James (Jim), and Joseph.
Mike owned the Sunshine Market on Williamson Street from 1971 through 1985 and retired from A.J. Sweet in 2007. Mike enjoyed bowling with his older brother Bill, outings at Devils Lake, boating with his family, and most recently spending time with his grandchildren.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Couser, MD, and the staff and friends at the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Center at St. Mary's Hospital. Mike appreciated the care and support he received from Agrace Hospice.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, March 21st,
2015, at SAINT ALBERT THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2402 St. Albert Drive, Sun Prairie, WI. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00am until the time of service. Following the service there will be a luncheon at the church.
