Clarence Cramer

Mount Horeb, WI – Clarence H. “Duke” Cramer passed on peacefully at UW Hospital on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 66 years of age after a courage battle with Cancer.

Born and raised in York, PA, High School All Star athlete, proudly served our country, in the Navy; and honorably discharged as 2nd Class Gunners Mate. A career opportunity brought him to Wisconsin where he made his home. Duke was a quiet, stoic, honest, ethical and very patriotic man. Duke was a very loving, devoted Husband & best friend to his wife for 26 years; and an extremely proud Father, and Grandpap.

Duke is preceded in death by his Father – Clarence H. “Duke” Sr., Mother – Helen Cramer; and Sister – Bonnie Lee (Cramer) Neff. He is survived by his Wife – Garnett “Gigi”; Son – Chad; Daughter-in-law, – Angela; and 2 bright and beautiful Granddaughters – Alivia & Logan.

A private ceremony for immediate family will be held in North Carolina where he will be placed next to a new seedling on his son’s property. Duke also expressed to be scattered in part, over the waters of beautiful Deep Creek Lake, Maryland where he and family spent many wonderful times together.

A Celebration of Life for all of those who’ve touched our hearts, will be held at a later date. Cards and memorials can be made to the Cramer Family.
