Susan Marie Machkovech, age 64, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Agrace HospiceCare, Fitchburg. She was born May 3, 1950 in Beaver Dam, WI to Allen and Esther (Means) Machkovech. She graduated from Westfield High School in 1968, from University of Wisconsin in 1972 and received her PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Michigan in 1979. She worked for 35 years as a Pharmaceutical Scientist in western Michigan.
In 1980, Susan married Phillip Ni and they were blessed with four children. She was a loving daughter, wife and mother and will be remembered for her patience, love, and her smart mouth.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip Ni, Kalamazoo, MI; three daughters, Jennifer Ni, Pasadena, CA Diana Ni, Denver, CO, Katherine Ni, Pittsburgh, PA; her mother Esther Machkovech; and seven siblings, Michael, Marian, Diane, Gerald, Mark, Daniel, Patrick; and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Machkovech and son, David Ni.

A Memorial service will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, Windsor/DeForest Chapel, 6924 Lake Road with Father Jim Leeser officiating.
