William Kramer

Madison: William (Bill) Kramer passed away at his home in Madison on April 20, 2015. He was 44 years old. Bill was born and raised in Madison, the sixth child of Donald and Elizabeth (Betty) Kramer. He attended Our Lady Queen of Peace grade school and Edgewood and Madison West High Schools. Bill went on to study at Miami Dade College, Florida International University, and did a study abroad at the University of Salamanca in Spain. Bill lived for 20 years in Miami, Florida, where he worked as a programs administrator for Catholic Legal Services. In Madison, he worked in sales and production.

Bill was a fun-loving individual who enjoyed golfing and fishing and watching sporting events. He was also a movie enthusiast. His best friends were his nephews, Joe, Sam, Luke, and Jose; and beloved niece, Liz. With the birth of Jaxon in 2014, Bill became a great uncle. Bill will be best remembered for his warm sense of humor, his compassion and empathy for family and friends, and talent for writing. He leaves behind many friends and family in Miami, Florida and Madison, who will cherish fond memories of a fun loving, kind and sensitive soul. Bill's older sister, Margaret, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his parents, Don and Betty; brothers Jim and Fred; sisters Mary and Jeany; and of course, his nephews and niece. Also surviving are his aunts, Evelyn Devereaux, Anne Short, Ellen Burkart, Kathleen Gosenheimer and many cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 27 at ST. THOMAS AQUINAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 602 Everglade Drive, with Father Bart Timmerman presiding. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 on Sunday, April 26, at Joyce-Ryan Funeral Home, 5701 Odana Road and again on Monday at the church from 9:30 until the time of Mass.
