Obituary
MADISON- Our beloved Frank J. Meyers, age 72, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 6, 2015. He was born in Ashland on September 30, 1942, the son of Clarence and Mary Meyers. He married Judith McLaughlin in Portage on October 16, 1965.
Frank worked at University Hospital and Stoughton Hospital as a nurse anesthetist for over 40 years. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and always having a joke on hand, his pleasant smile, and his love of animals and music.
He is survived by his wife, of 49 years, Judy; his sons, Dan, and Mark (partner, Gregory Bernard); his granddaughters, Zoe and Mischa; his sister, Geri Fix; and his brother-in-law, Charles (Lee) McLaughlin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Corine Wolanek.
The family would like to thank Frank's rheumatologist, Dr. Krieg, for her excellent care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Catholic Multicultural Center or the Dane County Humane Society.
Per Frank's wishes, a private family service will be held, with a Celebration of Life to follow at a later date.
