BARNEVELD/WAUNAKEE- Kathy A. (Tilley) Haag, age 57, passed away on June 12, 2015, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. She was born in Dodgeville on October 13, 1957, the daughter of Henry Tilley and Ruth Gentz. She attended Barneveld High School and moved to Waunakee, where she spent most of her adult years.
Kathy is survived by her sons, Matthew Haag of Spring Green, Mitchell (Tiffany Franke) Haag of Waunakee; her daughter, Samantha (Alex Borden) Haag of Waunakee; two grandchildren, Gabriel, Corinn and Anthony; parents, Ruth (Roger) Schmitz of Janesville and Henry (Mary) Tilley of Cross Plains; four sisters, Terry (Mark) Murphy of Alachua, FL, Tami (Mark Clark) Ryan of Mt. Juliet, TN, Dana (Mitch) Hodson of Black Earth, and Carmen (Rob Freed) Smith of Janesville; a brother, Scott Tilley of Fitchburg; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond and Melissa Gentz of Verona, and Henry L. and Margaret Tilley of Arena; step-father, Don Dimpfl of Barneveld; and nephew, Remi Hodson of Black Earth.
Kathy's family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Agrace HospiceCare for the excellent care provided to her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Kathy's family.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at BARNEVELD LUTHERAN CHURCH, 505 Swiss Lane. A luncheon will follow. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
