Obituary
Madison-Royle Eenigenburg, Sr, age 73, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family.
Royle was born in Chicago, Illinois in May, 1943. He graduated from Amundson high school and attended University of Illinois. On September 26, 1964 he married the love of his life Patricia Rowan. He was employed at AT&T for 30 years in electrical engineering. He retired in 1992. He had numerous hobbies including photography, tinkering with electronics, growing plants, cooking, music (loved the Mormon tabernacle choir) and spending time with his family. He loved his family and devoted his life to his children, grandchildren, grand dogs, guinea pigs, and many neighborhood animals. He was generous and loving toward all he came in contact with. He was incredibly intelligent with a heart of gold. He developed heart failure more than ten years ago and defied the odds repeatedly fighting for life to the very end.
Royle is survived by his wife Patricia Eenigenburg; their three children Royle Eenigenburg, Jr. and his wife Jantina Vonk; Bonnie Eenigenburg and her partner Jeff Edwards; and James Eenigenburg; two grandchildren Jeremiah and Josiah Eenigenburg; his brother Brian and half Brother John. He was preceded in death by his mother Phyllis Brennan 2007 and his father Robley Eenigenburg 1970.
We are grateful for the helpful support of Agrace hospice care which allowed him to die peacefully in his home.
The family had a private celebration of his life.
