Obituary
Waunakee/Madison – Robert M. Farrell, age 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015. He was born on Oct. 16, 1925 and raised by Charlie and Agnes McWatty. He graduated from Waunakee High School in 1942. He was a veteran of WWII, serving with the Merchant Marines for 4 years. Bob was a home builder and developer in Waunakee.
Bob is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marguerite “Peg” Farrell; his son, Mike and his wife Pam; and granddaughter Melissa, and her husband, Tim Fox.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 5001 N. Sherman Ave, Madison with Monsignor Charles Schluter presiding. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a. m. until the time of service.
Bob’s family wishes to thank the VA Hospital, Monsignor Charles Schluter and Judy Stolper for their kindness and support.
Bob was a devoted husband and father, and cherished his granddaughter Melissa, who was his friend and pal. He will always be loved and missed.
