Kelli Vinje

DEFOREST- Kelli RenAC. Vinje, age 52, passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 14th, 2015, at UW Hospital surrounded by family and friends. She was born Aug. 21st, 1962 in Kewanee, IL the daughter of Kenneth L. Eilers and Kathryn J. (Foy) David. Kelli worked at Walgreen's Distribution Center for 15+ years. She loved do-it-yourself projects with her husband and family. She took a pleasure in antiquing whenever she could. She had a tremendous love for her pets Shadow dog and kitty Chesney. She took great pride in each and every one of her grandchildren. She lived and breathed green and gold for her Green Bay Packers. More than anything she enjoyed spending time up north surrounded by family and friends at the family cabin.

Kelli is survived by her husband, Mark W. Vinje; her children, son Kirk C. Nichols of Kenosha, stepdaughter Amanda J. Slick of Sun Prairie, stepson Tanner M. Vinje of Madison; grandchildren: Skky, Tenley, Alayia, Peyton, Nolan, Collin, Tabius; a sister Kristy Eilers of Silvis, IL and a brother Kerry Eilers of Spring Valley, IL; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Dennis O. David, and a special nephew, Alan B. Johnson.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22nd, 2015 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 6924 Lake Road, DeForest, with Pastor Doug Van Essen presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
