Timothy Haswell

Timothy P. Haswell, age 62, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Waunakee Manor. He was born February 2, 1953, the son of David and Rosalind (Schneider) Haswell.
He attended Windsor Elementary School for one year, and then in years following, attended Special Education classes for challenged students. Following his graduation, he enjoyed working for many years at DeForest grocery stores, Pepsi Company and Second Harvest Food Bank. The job coaches from W.O.R.C. were very helpful with his employment.

Tim always lived at home with his parents on the farm, being a great helper in the home or working outside with farming activities. He was involved for many years with 4H projects, including horses and ponies. He enjoyed his time as a Boy Scout. Tim was a member of the DeForest Evangelical Free Church and faithfully attended for many years. Music was important to Tim and he liked the old hymns sung at church and also much of the old time dancing music. Travel was one of Tim's great delights, especially his trips to the west coast to visit his brothers. One of Tim's special memories was to travel to the British Isles on a choir tour with his parents. He felt part of the singers and enjoyed the camaraderie.

Tim is survived by his parents; brother, Jeff (Renee) of California; and aunts; uncles and several cousins. Tim will be greatly missed by family and many of his friends who knew him. He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel.

A Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2015 at DeForest Evangelical Free Church, 501 Country View Drive, DeForest, with Pastor Charles Gaston officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 1-2 p.m. Burial will follow at Windsor Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the church building fund in memory of Timothy.
