Obituary
MADISON - Tracy D. Martinson, age 57, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 27, 2015. Tracy was born on December 30, 1957 in Madison, WI to Dallas and LaVon (Tjugum) Martinson. He grew up on the North side of Madison and spent his time on the lakes and in the woods. Tracy took pride in the work that he did for Four Lakes Paving Company. Tracy had a life-long passion for the outdoors, fishing, hunting and trapping. His endless sense of humor provided everyone he met with laughter and memories. Tracy was generous and caring individual, always willing to help others.
Tracy is survived by his son, Jesse (Brittany) Vanderbilt; his companion, Wendy Skilondz and her daughter April; siblings, Danny, Kay (Gerald) Kertz, and Lea Burger; nieces & nephews, Dustin (Judi), Damon, Justin Kertz, Amalia (Nick) Uselman, Nick and Ryan Burger. Further survived by other family and life-long friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother.
A memorial service will held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 North Sherman Avenue, Madison. A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until time of service on Wednesday.
