Obituary
Verona-Gregory P. Benz, age 69, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Meriter Hospital in Madison. He was born on March 7, 1946 in New York City, the son of John and Elsie (Bruns) Benz. Gregory was the youngest of three children. A highlight for him was attending Clemson University where he was a world class shot putter and where he met the love of his life Susan Tripp. The two of them moved to Sun Prairie, WI to raise a family and build his architectural firm.
Gregory is survived by his children, Stephany (Jeff) Rogness and Keith (Peggy) Benz; and two grandchildren, Sydney and Samantha.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan; and his parents, John and Elsie Benz.
A Visitation will be held from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 220 Enterprise Dr, Verona.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to a charity of your choosing in Gregory's name.
