Thomas John Cullen, age 90, passed away peacefully at Badger Prairie Nursing Home on Saturday, November 07, 2015. He was born March 3, 1925 in Milwaukee, the son of the late Clifford and Nora (O'Flaherty) Cullen. Tom graduated from Central High School in 1942 and earned a Bachelor's degree and Doctor of Law degree from U.W. Madison. Tom was also a member of U.W. Boxing Team. He joined the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1944 and served as a top turret gunner on a B24 in the South Pacific until the end of the war. He received several awards, including the Lawrence B. Kelley Air Medal. In 1994 Tom organized a reunion of his crew mates from the 494 Bomb Group known as Kelley's Kobras, Crew 121.
Tom worked for University Book Store most of his working career. He was a collector of jazz music from the 30's and 40's, old western movies and old T.V. shows. He had a collection of memorabilia from Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, and other singers of that era.
Tom is survived by cousins, David and Jeri Tormey of Verona and Joann and Jim O'Flaherty of Cobb.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at ST. ANDREW CATHOLIC CHURCH, 301 n. Main Street, Verona with Father William Vernon presiding. Burial will follow at St. Phillips Cemetery in Highland. Visitation will be on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass.
