Obituary
Madison – Carol A. Wiedenbeck, age 84, passed away peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She will be remembered for being a loving, devoted and strong-willed Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Carol worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Mary's Hospital for approximately 40 years. Much of her career was spent in the Newborn Nursery. She was an avid Badger and Packer Fan.
Carol is survived by her five children John (Rhonda) Wiedenbeck, Thomas (Jodi) Wiedenbeck, Joni Hewitt, Mary (David) Finger, and Cynthia (Scott) Abraham; her grandchildren Colt Wiedenbeck, Troy Wiedenbeck, Mollie (Casey) Jessberger, Katie Wiedenbeck, Brittnay (Justin) Deminter, Ashley Sullivan, Tyke Sullivan, Jayson (Megan) Hewitt, Ross Hewitt, Anthony (Nina) Finger, Chelsea Finger, Morgan Abraham, and Brett Abraham; her great grandchildren Garret, Cole, Landin, Carson, Selah, and Nolan; and her brother Allen (Nancy) Slaby.
She was preceded in death by her husband John H. Wiedenbeck, and her parents Peter and Leona Slaby.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 13, 2015 at ST. PETER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5001 N. Sherman Ave., Madison with Monsignor Charles Schluter officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
