John "Jack" Raymond Keller, Sr. passed away peacefully on November 25, 2015 at Trinity Senior Community, Madison. He was born February 24, 1941 in Waunakee, one of five children born to John Joseph and Theresa Elizabeth (Fell) Keller.
John worked as a contractor in home construction and remodeling, finishing his career with his business, Keller Construction. He grew up in a family who taught him a love for playing cards, which he continued to enjoy at gatherings with family and friends. He and his buddy, Roger, enjoyed many years of deer hunting together. He also had fun buying and selling at flea markets and swap meets.
Jack is survived by his wife, Julia in Stoughton; three children, Michael Keller of Waukesha, Wendy Keller of Stoughton, John Keller, Jr. of Lake Mills; five grandchildren, Justin, Nathan (Kelly), Alex, Josh, Casy; a great-grandson, Kannon; four siblings, Evelyn (Russ) Fleming, Shirley Panas, Bob (Chris) Keller, Don (Nancy) Keller; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his favorite cat, Emma.
The family extends their appreciation to the staff of Heartland Hospice for the care they provided Jack and the family in his last days.
A Memorial Service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Avenue with visitation from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
