Kea Peterson

Madison, WI - Kea S. Peterson, age 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 11, 2015. She was born January 25, 1924 in Madison, WI to Spyros and Vasaliki Soldatos. Kea married Marvin Peterson on February 28, 1959 and together they raised their four daughters.

Kea was a lifelong member of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church and the Ladies Philoptochos Organization. She worked for many years at Stevens House of Gifts and the Boston store. Her love and passion was for her family. She was always waiting for her grandchildren to come to visit and spend the Holidays with her and Marvin.

Kea is survived by her daughters, Vicki (Don) Hagen, Kari (Ross) Anderson, Paula (David) Johnson and Sandra (Todd) Johnston. She is also survived by her grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart: Lindsay, Joshua, Andrew, Jennifer, Kea, Kyle and Nicholas. She is further survived by her sisters, Mary Scocos and Fran Anjanos along with many nieces and nephews and brother and sister in laws. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday December 19, 2015 at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 11 North 7th Street, Madison, with Father Michael Vanderhoef presiding. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Family was everything to Kea and she cared for us with all her heart. We will miss you Mom but know you are now with Dad.
