Ruth Lois Dylewski, age 98, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Sylvan Nursing Home. She was born June 26, 1917 in Jeffersonville, NY, the daughter of Lewis and Anna (Bauernfiend) Hubbert.
She graduated from SUNY, New Paltz in 1937 and taught school in three counties. She retired from teaching in 1977. She was married to Frank in 1942. She lived in New Hurley until five years ago when she moved to Madison to live with her daughter.
She is survived by two daughters, Lois (Brian) Yocom, Madison, WI and Dawn (Larry) Andrezzi, Brooklyn; five granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank and three brothers.
Her final resting place will be in the New Hurley Cemetery, Wallkill.
