Jane F. Romanowski, age 97, died on May 28, 2016 in Waunakee. She was born in Butler, WI, the daughter of Stanley and Mary (Nowak) Malecki. Jane married Harry J. Romanowski on March 18, 1944. They made their home in Milwaukee, raising two daughters, and enjoying 68 years of marriage before Harry’s death in April, 2012. They enjoyed traveling and were lifelong avid golfers. Jane also worked for many years as an office manager for Dr. Ken Stollenwerk in Milwaukee. Her family and her Catholic faith were most important in her life.

Jane is survived by her daughter, Judy Stolper (Gene Haug) of Madison; her son-in-law, Ron Hyslop of Madison; grandchildren, Rachel Hyslop of Fitchburg, Dan (Beth) Hyslop of Warwick, R.I. and Megan Hyslop of Indianapolis, IN; great-grandchildren, George and Angela Hyslop; and other family members.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Hyslop; grandsons, Michael and Andy Stolper; her parents; and siblings, John, Helen, Alex, Leonard and Gordon Malecki.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at ST. PETER CATHOLIC CHURCH 5001 North Sherman Avenue, Madison, with Msgr. Charles Schluter officiating. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Entombment will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee.
