Obituary
Madison-Raymond Theodore Klettke, age 86, died on Monday, May 30, 2016 at Meriter Hospital in Madison. He was born on June 22, 1929 in Fond du Lac, the son of Theodore Klettke and Verna (Batchelder) Klettke.
Raymond served 8 years in the Army Reserves, during that time he served his country in the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. He attended UW Madison and worked as a bellhop at the Fest Hotel in Madison. He later worked as an Office Auditor in the intoxicating liquor section of the Wisconsin Department of Revenue’s Excise Tax Bureau from 1962 until he retired in 1992.
Raymond had a passion for photography and spent much of his time taking pictures of people and places around Madison. He also was a shrewd investor and followed the stock market daily. Raymond will be fondly remembered for his unique personality.
Friends would like to thank the staff and residents of the Brookdale Senior Living Center for their assistance and companionship given to Raymond, where he spent his final years.
