Curtis Schultz

PORTAGE/DEFOREST – Curtis R. Schultz, age 60, passed away at his home surrounded by his family, Friday, June 3, 2016. Curt was born on February 13, 1956 in Milwaukee, WI to Robert and Lucille Schultz. He grew up in DeForest, turned it upside down and then moved to Portage. He went to DeForest High School and later married the love of his life Jenny England on September 9, 1978. Curt worked for Clack Corporation for several years where he has many friends. Curt also served on the DeForest Fire Department as a volunteer. He had racing in his blood, starting with stock cars and most recently he and his sons raced 4 wheelers. Curt’s passion was family and The Farm. Curt will be dearly missed by all.

Curt is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jenny; children, Robert (Kelly), Jeremy, and David (Bailey Quam); the light of his life, granddaughters, Hailey Jo and Audra Leigh; mother, Lucille; siblings, Nancy (Tom) Bowers, Larry (Sue), Ron (Debbie), Judy (Bill) Hippe, Wendy (Mark) Buchanan, and Christine (Kevin) Harper. Further survived by other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father; brother, David; in-laws, Wayne and Mary Ann England; sister-in-law, Tammy Grothues, nephew, Justin Kessenich; and special uncle, Earl.

A service will be held at 2:30PM on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 6924 Lake Road, DeForest. A visitation will be held from NOON to 2:30PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Burke Lutheran Church Cemetery.
