Madison-Betty A. Olrick, age 78, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016, at Middleton Village. She was born on December 23, 1937 in Monona, WI, the daughter of Frederick and Erma (Seeliger) Erb. Betty loved spending time with her family and always made the most out of life’s challenges. She especially enjoyed picnics with her children and grandchildren. Betty was an incredibly hard worker who retired from Covance after many years of service.
Betty is survived by her children, Roxanne (Todd) Dugan, Kevin (Lynnette) Olrick and Jill (Terry) Anderson; grandchildren, Danielle Dugan, Joshua Dugan, Justina (Ben) Kimmel, Andrew Olrick, Caitlyn (Ian) Olrick-Gilberts, Hayden Olrick, Morgan Engels, Jamey Engels, Emily Anderson, Julia Anderson and Mitchell Anderson; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Roger (Sharon) Erb, Bob Erb and Carol Swenson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fritz and Erma Erb, and siblings, Donna Peterson and Rick Erb.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at ZION LUTHERAN ELCA, 2165 Linden Ave, Madison. Visitation will take place from 9am until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Memory Gardens.
